Kickoff location change, job in East Rock, upcoming internship deadlines
Dear YJI,
For starters, make sure to congratulate Isaac – it's his birthday today!
We have another exciting list of events this week, including our first pizza social THIS FRIDAY (the location has changed)! Also, check out some great internship and job opportunities that we’ve compiled below, including deadlines for the Washington Post, POLITICO, and Bloomberg. Enjoy the last of the warm weather!
Additionally—we are in the beginning stages of re-organizing YJI’s official website. Please let us know if there’s anything you think would be helpful to have there (an alumni database, perhaps?)
If you run a student publication on campus and would like to be included in a future YJI guide for student publications, please send us some contact information for students interested in joining.
Also, if you’re interested, you can schedule one-on-ones on Calendly with Sue, Kate, Ángela and/or Isaac. We're available to talk about anything, from internship advice to learning about different publications on campus!
Join us this Friday in the Berkeley North Court Common Room (this is a new location!!) for pizza and time with fellow student journos.
Your YJI fellows,
Ángela and Isaac
